RECURRING APPARITIONS (ANNIVERSARY GHOSTS)

Recurring apparitions are ghosts that occur in regular cycles over a period of time, usually once annually. This type of ghost sighting is one of the most popular. The date of manifestation usually occurs on an anniversary date or a day of special importance to the deceased. These apparitions can include both ghosts of people and animals. Reports of recurring ghosts include individuals who have committed suicide, murder victims, and entire phantom armies marching across battlefields.

HISTORICAL APPARITIONS

These apparitions are one step up from the atmospheric apparition. They typically haunt older homes and appear in solid forms acting natural. They are always dressed in period clothing and do not speak, communicate or acknowledge the presence of the living. They are seen in more than one location of the residence.

ATMOSPHERIC APPARITIONS

This type of ghost sighting is not actually believed to be a real ghost, but instead a visual “imprint” that got left behind in the environment from a past event. These events typically include, but are not limited to, violent and tragic events. What witnesses report seeing is the continuous replaying of past events exactly as they happened. The ghostly scenes are played and replayed with both picture and sound. A particularly strange aspect of atmospheric apparitions is that the visual picture fades down over time. As the years pass the ghosts are reported to become more and more transparent until there is no picture left at all. Over time, the sound too eventually fades away.

These apparitions are commonly called the Stone-wall effect or video recordings in printed within the buildings walls

CRISIS APPARITIONS

These apparitions are commonly known as "living ghosts". They generally appear at the time that their earthly agent is in a crisis or traumatic event to those who have a strong emotional bond to them. For example, in WWII several witnesses reported seeing a vision or apparition of their loved one at the exact time of death. Crisis apparitions are not always harbingers of death, often the earthly agent survives the crisis or trauma only to be told of their "psychic projection" later. These apparitions seem to act as a warning mechanism to friends and family members and have similarities to reciprocal apparitions. However, these apparitions, when associated with death, can resemble or have exact similarities to deathbed visions.

POLTERGEISTS

"Poltergeist" is a German term for "noisy spirit".... which is an excellent description for this frightening phenomena. This kind of paranormal activity has made many victims literally run for their lives, completely abandoning their homes and possessions!

What is even more frightening is that Poltergeist activity is relatively commonplace. Many normal people in normal situations have experienced it. Indeed, several popular films and books have been produced on this very subject, giving us a first-hand look at what a terrifying experience it must be for those besieged with Poltergeist activities.

In the scientific world, Poltergeists are generally portrayed as malevolent, disruptive, mischievous, and unusually noisy and unwelcome entities - and rightfully so! This type of paranormal activity has been reported since Medieval times, and to this day scientists (yes, even scientists acknowledge them) are debating the causes of Poltergeist activity occurrences. Characteristic activities may include flying objects, foul odors, loud noises, banging, pounding, unexplained electrical light activities.....and even apparitions.

ELEMENTAL SPIRITS

Probably the most fascinating and most frightening paranormal phenomenon in when it comes to ghosts are what are known as "Elemental Spirits"."What are elemental spirits"?, you may ask.Well, consider this-We all know that matter can change phases like a liquid to a solid or a solid to a gas.An elemental spirit is basically a spirit which can change into solid matter and then back into spirit form once again but it is quite difficult to theorize on this but many Legends abound about the existense of elemental spirits and of course there are stories out there of people having encounters with them, us being one of them ! ! !
