Hunting Equipment
PROJECTOR + SCREEN
These are used in conjunction with the nine cctv cameras and the multiplexer to project the images onto a larger screen so that people can see what is happening in the rooms of the building
NIGHT-VISION CAMCORDERS
We use all types of night-vision camcorders which record on Hi8,Mini DV and DVD format tapes/discs.
The footage is check by the team after the investigation to try and establish if anything paranormal was catpured during the night's investigation.
DIGITAL CAMERAS
Are used on all investigations. We use all different types of digital camera from 3 megapixels to 12 megapixels. We have found that the higher the pixelation the lower the light anomalies !!

VCR
The video recorder , records the whole investigation from start to finish and is checked thoroughly by the team to see if anything strange appears on one of the 9 cameras.
TORCHES
Always required on all investigations , as the buildings are extremely dark, when the lights go out.
It may seem silly , but the only way to use a torch is point it downwards to the floor, to see where you are going. Torches on your head are useless as you cannot see hazards across the floor in front of you.
MP3 RECORDERS
These are placed around the building to hopefully capture EVP's within specific rooms, then downloaded to our sound recording computer software to see what we have captured.
MULTIPLEXER
This piece of equipment connects our nine cctv camera system up to a big screen, so that people can see what is happening throughout the building we are investigating
PARABOLIC MICROPHONE
We have recently started using this equipmet on our investigations, Basically it is a ultra-sensitive micro-phone that can pick up sounds throughout the building, it is connected to headphones, and we also connect it to recording equipment, Excellent tool for EVP's
35MM CAMERAS
With 35mm film cameras they have an added advantage to digital cameras , as they produce a negative, making it quite difficult to enhance, Also personally Ii believe that you get a far better quality of picture than using the digital camera, I never leave home without it !!
POLAROID CAMERAS
As these cameras are instant-matic , they are probably one of the cameras to use on investigations. As the pictures are produced within seconds they are virtually impossible to enhance in anyway, so if you manage to capture a picture of a ghost/spirit on one of these then it would be excellent evidence
However the films for these cameras are quite expensive if used regularly.
BATTERIES
As with everything, you can never have enough batteries, we are constantly replacing batteries in our equipment , as paranormal activity is re-nowned to drain battery power on investigations
Our Technical manager (Steff) has designed and created a piece of equipment that is called the SV3 . The SV3 will be trialed on our investigations very soon. This piece of equipment can recored sound / thernal images / atmospheric conditions as well as recored images on the cameras. It will also allow us to broadcast our cameras live across the internet through a server, so people can log on and watch the investigation at home. We feel that this piece of equipment that has taken several months to construct will be in operation from October this year, and will be a much needed asset to our research into the paranormal
