Ghosts, What are they ?
Well I'm sure that we all have our ghosts stories , or know of a close releative or friend that has.
Everyone from Kings, Queens, Preists, Soldiers, me and you have reported the sightings of spirits / ghosts for centuries, and I very much doubt that things will change in the near future.
But what are ghosts? Well the honest answer is that no-one knows for certain.
There are, however, many theories to explain the thousands upon thousands of documented experiences that people around the world have had since the beginning of recorded history.
A traditional view of ghosts is that they are the spirits of dead people that for some reason are "stuck" between this plane of existence and the next, often as a result of some tragedy or trauma. Many ghost hunters and psychics believe that such earth-bound spirits don't know they are dead.
Ghosts exist in a kind of limbo in which they haunt the scenes of their deaths or locations that they frequented in life. Very often, these types of ghosts are able to interact with the living.
However there are many different types of ghost , which are listed in this ghost section, which some of you may have been in contact with yourselves.
Our aim at Tameside Paranormal UK is to study and research first-hand reported sightings of ghostly apparitions and unexplained paranormal activity, whether it be in somebody's home, place of work, shops, public houses, or public properties. So that we are able to obtain the 100% proof that ghosts really do exist.
